Here are the inactive players for the San Diego Chargers and Indianapolis Colts for their Week 3 matchup at Lucas Oil Stadium.

All NFL teams are looking for continuity and consistency.

Of course, opening 0-2 for the third consecutive season is not what any club has in mind.

But that’s what we have seen from the Indianapolis Colts, who have allowed a combined 73 points in setbacks to the Detroit Lions and Denver Broncos. Not all of that is on Chuck Pagano’s defense, as last week quarterback Andrew Luck had his first two turnovers of the season returned for touchdowns.

In any case, the Colts haven’t stopped much of anything in the early stages of 2016, entering Week 3 having given up the third-most yards in the NFL as well as six offensive touchdowns (3 rushing, 3 receiving).

Once again, Luck and the offense looks like they will have to carry the club. But that unit is down one of its key players with wide receiver Donte Moncrief sidelined indefinitely.

Don’t talk about injuries to the San Diego Chargers. In the first two weeks of the season, Mike McCoy’s squad first lost wide receiver Keenan Allen and then running back Danny Woodhead for the year.

Still, quarterback Philip Rivers and his team have managed to put 65 points on the board in two weeks. One very big bright spot has been the play of second-year running back Melvin Gordon, who has scored three touchdowns in two games after a rookie season in which he never sniffed the end zone.

Both the Chargers and Colts have their share of key offensive performers out. This still shapes up as a shootout between two clubs looking to make amends for disappointing 2015 campaigns.
