CB Dre Kirkpatrick out for Bengals vs Packers

Published Sep. 22, 2013 12:59 p.m. ET

Bengals cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick is inactive against the Green Bay Packers, leaving Cincinnati's secondary short-handed against Aaron Rodgers.

Kirkpatrick pulled a hamstring during a 20-10 win over Pittsburgh on Monday night. Cornerback Adam ''Pacman'' Jones has an abdominal injury but was active Sunday despite being limited in practice. The Bengals signed free agent cornerback Curtis Marsh on Wednesday and promoted cornerback Chris Lewis-Harris off the practice squad.

The Packers are coming off a 38-20 win over Washington in which Rodgers threw for 480 yards.

Green Bay is missing running back Eddie Lacy, sidelined by a concussion last week. James Starks filled in for Lacy and had a career-high 132 yards against the Redskins. He's starting against the Bengals.
