Cardinals offensive line struggling to protect Carson Palmer
The Cardinals offensive line was supposed to be much improved with the acquisition of Mike Iupati in the offseason.
Now it's a growing cause for concern heading into 2015.
Iupati suffered a knee injury in training camp and underwent knee surgery; starting right tackle Bobby Massie could be suspended to start the season.
In the team's preseason game vs. the Raiders, the offensive line and Carson Palmer were under constant pressure.
The Raiders recorded four sacks, eight tackles for loss and six quarterback hits.
"We've got to do a better job of getting the ball out of our hands sometimes," Arians said, via the Arizona Republic. "I thought we held it a little bit longer today. Our backs could have helped a couple times to protect (Palmer)."
If the Cardinals expect to contend for the NFC West crown or challenge for a Super Bowl, protecting Palmer is at the top of the list.
