Cardinals at Bills: Inactives
Let’s go through the inactives for both the Buffalo Bills and Arizona Cardinals.
On the Friday following their 37-31 loss against the Jets, the proceeded to fire their offensive coordinator in Greg Roman. Anthony Lynn now steps in to fill that void, being promoted from running backs coach. We’ll see the adjustments they make today, but I wouldn’t expect a drastic difference in scheming from Roman.
Defensively, Buffalo needs to play much smarter. And prepare better too. They left their corners in Ronald Darby and Stephon Gilmore (two highly praised cover corners throughout the league I mind you) on island last week and Ryan Fitzpatrick picked their defense up. Gilmore had a rough first half but it wasn’t all on him leaving him vulnerable against Eric Decker.
The Bills won’t let Larry Fitzgerald beat them single-handedly. But Arizona’s offense features so many weapons, that even without Fitz, are capable of running over their opponent. But taking away Fitzgerald should be the first priority defensively.

Without Watkins and Darby, Buffalo is going to have a very tough time getting its first win of the season. The Bills rely heavily on Watkins to create big plays down the field, with the rest of the receivers being middling at best.
As for the Cardinals, there are some key injuries on the list including Evan Mathis and Frostee Rucker. Both are key players in the trenches, but Arizona should be able to survive the loss considering Marcell Dareus is not on the field either, serving a four-game suspension.
