Cam Newton focused on getting to 12-0, not going undefeated

When the Carolina Panthers went to 11-0 after yet another dominant performance in their 33-14 victory over the Dallas Cowboys, it led to talk of a potential undefeated season just heating up even more.

Well, if you ask Cam Newton about the potential of going undefeated, he wants nothing to do with it. Instead, Newton's main focus is just on making sure that his team gets to 12-0 in Week 13, according to Steve Reed of the Associated Press.

Newton has the right mindset, but the question is, can this team avoid getting bit by the undefeated bug before the regular season ends? Based on what we've seen through 11 games, there's little reason to think they can't.
