Calvin Johnson becomes fastest WR to 11,000 yards in NFL history

Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson is still getting the job done at 30 years old.
During the first half of Detroit's Week 8 showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs in London, Johnson caught a 17-yard pass that put him over 11,000 receiving yards for his career. According to Lions senior writer Tim Twentyman, he is the fastest player in NFL history to reach that milestone.
On a positive note, that last catch by Calvin Johnson made him the fastest to 11,000 receiving yards. #DETvsKC

Age and injuries have not sapped Johnson of his dynamic ability. He is on pace for another 1,000-yard season, even though the Lions have been one of the NFL's worst teams this season. If he keeps it up, Megatron could reach 1,000 yards and make the Pro Bowl for the sixth consecutive season this year.
With little else for which to root this season, Johnson's accomplishments can serve as a bit of a consolation prize for letdown Lions fans.
