Published Sep. 15, 2013 4:31 p.m. ET

Tampa Bay guard Carl Nicks is inactive for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints because of a foot injury that has sidelined him the past month.

Gabe Carimi is starting at left guard for the Buccaneers in place of Nicks, who returned to practice last Wednesday after sitting out since mid-August, when he was diagnosed as having a MRSA infection.

Cornerback Michael Adams, running back Peyton Hillis, tight end Tom Crabtree, defensive ends William Gholston and Steven Means and quarterback Dan Orlovsky also are inactive for the Bucs.

Running back Khiry Robinson, safety Isa Abdul-Quddus, tackle Terron Armstead, defensive end Tyrunn Walker, defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley, wide receiver Nick Toon and defensive end Glenn Foster are inactive for the Saints.
