Bruce Arians expects Carson Palmer, not Tony Romo, to be the Cardinals' 2017 QB

It seems the gang is getting back together again for the Arizona Cardinals.
One day after receiver Larry Fitzgerald told reporters he will return for a 14th season, Arizona coach Bruce Arians told Colin Cowherd on Friday’s “The Herd” that quarterback Carson Palmer likely will be back for his fifth season with the Cardinals and 14th overall.
“I’m pretty sure he’ll come back,” Arians said.

Earlier in the day, Arians told Skip Bayless on “Undisputed” that the team didn’t have much interest in potential trade candidate Tony Romo because of Palmer’s status:

“I think you always look at everybody that’s available, but I got my fingers crossed that Carson’s coming back and we’ve got Drew Stanton, so we’re in really good shape at quarterback. So I wish Tony all the best. I doubt he’ll be a Cardinal.”
