Browns rookie WR Corey Coleman won't need surgery, will miss 4-6 weeks
The hits kept on coming for the injury-riddled Cleveland Browns on Wednesday when Corey Coleman broke his hand in practice. The first-round pick was off to a promising start, catching seven passes for 173 yards and two touchdowns in his first two games, but this latest injury will sideline him for a bit.
It won’t keep him out as long as it could have, though. The Browns announced Thursday that Coleman saw a hand specialist and it was determined that he will not need surgery. He will, however, still be out four to six weeks.

Coleman posted this photo on Instagram Wednesday night following the crushing injury.
The Browns have now lost two starting quarterbacks and their best receiver this season. With rookie QB Cody Kessler making his NFL debut against the Dolphins on Sunday, the Browns could be in for a terrible game. His top receiver will be Terrelle Pryor, but beyond that, Cleveland isn’t overly talented at the position, particularly with Josh Gordon suspended for the first four games of the season.
