Browns 'humble' Jim Brown on 80th birthday by honoring him with statue

For as much talk that has been generated about the Cleveland Browns' future this offseason, the franchise is tipping its cap to its past.
On Jim Brown's 80th birthday on Wednesday, the Browns announced that they will honor the Hall of Fame running back with a statue of him at FirstEnergy Stadium.
"It humbles me to be honored in this manner," Brown said. "Dee and Jimmy Haslam, thank you for the respect and love. Your investment in Cleveland is unparalleled. To the fans of the Cleveland Browns, I guess I'll always be with you — thank you."
Looking forward to be turning 80 tomorrow. #blessed

Head coach Hue Jackson told Cleveland.com on Tuesday that he is "looking forward to finding out as many things" as he can from Brown, also a special advisor to the team.
Brown is one of the most celebrated figures in Cleveland sports. Putting up a statue in his honor is a gift for him, the team and the fans.
