Broncos think they see results from Peyton Manning's days off

Gary Kubiak's plan to rest Peyton Manning might already be showing dividends.
Demaryius Thomas has already noticed a difference in No. 18's arm. The Broncos head coach thinks he's spot-on.
"I really like what I see," Kubiak told reporters after Tuesday's practice. "When he goes three days and he gets that break -- today he's coming off a break and boy, he threw the ball well."
It's rare that the detail-oriented Manning has an off practice day. Take Thomas' word, though, and he's getting those passes to receivers a little faster.
Kubiak wants his quarterback to keep it up. He's kept "The Sheriff" out of two training camp practices already, despite protests.
"He'll scream for the work, that's not a problem," Kubiak said. "But I think it's going to help to keep him fresh."
