Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak hospitalized with flu-like symptoms


Denver Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak was hospitalized after Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons, the team announced.
The team said Kubiak was taken to a local hospital for precautionary reasons for flu-like symptoms, and is being evaluated.
Kubiak coached the entire game, a 23–16 loss to Atlanta, even after not feeling well during the game.

During a game against the Indianapolis Colts in the 2013 season, Kubiak, who was then the coach of the Houston Texas, suffered a transient ischemic attack, otherwise known as a "mini-stroke," during halftime of that game. He spent two nights in the hospital before being released.
Denver (4–1) takes on the San Diego Chargers (1–4) Thursday night.
