Broncos' DeMarcus Ware (back) could be out until Week 8

The stout Denver defense will have to go without one of its lynchpins for a while.

Linebacker DeMarcus Ware, who was carted off the football field against the Raiders on Sunday, is expected to miss a few weeks with his back injury:

The Broncos catch a big break with the timing of Ware's ailment. They'll face the Cleveland Browns in Week 6 before catching a crucial bye week the following weekend.

That'll give Ware ample time to rest his aching back before a huge midseason showdown with the Green Bay Packers.
