Broncos defense stuns Panthers with early touchdown

The Broncos swarmed the Panthers early in the first quarter of Super Bowl 50.

On the Panthers' second possession, Broncos linebacker Von Miller hit Cam Newton on a third-and-10 dropback from the Carolina 15, jarring the ball loose. Defensive end Malik Jackson recovered Newton's fumble in the end zone for a touchdown that put the Broncos up 10-0.

It was the first fumble recovery for touchdown since Dallas Cowboys safety James Washington did it against the Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl XXVIII.
