Brady ranks first in five-step drops, third in three-step

First, let me start off by telling you something you already know: Tom Brady is an elite quarterback, and one of the best of all time. He gets the job done and wins with less talent around him than many other quarterbacks, and he makes it look easy.
What you may not know, however, is how Brady ranks among his competitors in specific categories. According to Pro Football Focus, Brady is at the top of his class -- unsurprisingly. He comes in at No. 1 for five-step drops, grading out higher than Aaron Rodgers and Peyton Manning in that category.
As far as three-step drops go, Brady is also in the top-three, coming in at third on the list. He graded out worse than just Eli Manning and Matt Ryan in that statistical category in 2014.
Three- and five-step drops are a big part of every quarterback's game, but specifically Brady's. He loves to get the ball out quick and get the ball into the hands of his receivers, which makes him so effective and difficult to get on the ground. He'll likely grade out in the top-three in both categories once again in 2015.
