Bills sign DE Ferguson; release DE Dotson

The Buffalo Bills have shuffled defensive ends before the start of training camp by signing undrafted rookie Sean Ferguson and releasing Lionel Dotson.
Ferguson took part in the team's rookie minicamp on a tryout basis in May. Listed at 6-foot-3 and 248 pounds, he had 27 starts in 49 games at Mississippi State.
Dotson spent his first three NFL seasons with Miami before being signed to the Bills' practice squad last September. He eventually appeared in two games last season.
The moves were announced Wednesday, a day before the Bills open training camp in suburban Rochester.
The Bills also announced that tight end Mike Caussin will open camp on the active/physically unable to perform list. Caussin is still recovering after hurting his right knee late last season.
