Bills RB Lynch participates in practice

Published Jun. 15, 2010 1:00 a.m. ET

Disgruntled Buffalo Bills running back Marshawn Lynch is participating in his first voluntary practice after missing the team's first 12 sessions this spring.

Bills spokesman Scott Berchtold said Monday that Lynch was on the field during a practice that is closed to the media. It's unclear whether Lynch will speak to reporters at the conclusion of the session.

Buffalo's 2007 first-round draft pick is unhappy being in Buffalo, believing he needs a fresh start elsewhere after several run-ins with police over the past two years. Two weeks ago, Lynch spent two days working out at the Bills facility, but skipped practice and didn't meet with coach Chan Gailey.

The Bills have insisted they have no intention of trading Lynch.
