Bills' Kim Pegula named to NFL Foundation board

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) Buffalo Bills co-owner Kim Pegula has been named to the NFL Foundation board.

The move was announced Tuesday, two months after Kim and husband Terry Pegula purchased the Bills. On the board, she replaces former Bills executive Mary Owen, who is no longer with the team.

The Foundation is a nonprofit organization which promotes healthy lifestyles and dedicated to supporting the safety of youth football athletes around the nation.

As for the Bills, the team shuffled its practice squad by signing receiver Eric Thomas and released receiver Travis Harvey on Tuesday.

Thomas played at Troy and signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted rookie free agent in May. He was released off the Colts practice squad last month.
