Bills-Chargers to be blacked out in SoCal

Published Dec. 13, 2011 5:07 p.m. ET

The San Diego Chargers say their game Sunday against the Buffalo Bills will be blacked out in Southern California.

The team says nearly 5,000 tickets remained unsold by Thursday's deadline.

The Chargers and Bills are both 5-7. The Chargers snapped their six-game losing streak with a victory at Jacksonville on Monday night. The Bills have lost five straight.

This is San Diego's second blackout this season. Their game against Miami on Oct. 2 also failed to sell out.
