Bill Belichick, Patriots almost never lose back-to-back games

The New England Patriots are coming off of their first win of the season, dropping 30-24 in overtime to the Denver Broncos. The loss isn't particularly alarming, especially when considering the Patriots' record following a loss.

According to Bleeding Green Nation, the Patriots have only lost back-to-back games under Bill Belichick four times since 2003.

Needless to say, that doesn't bode well for the Philadelphia Eagles, who are on the road against the Patriots this week. Add in the fact that the Eagles have allowed 90 points and 10 touchdown passes in their past two games and they could be in big trouble against the 10-1 Patriots.

One of the few things working in the Eagles' favor is that Rob Gronkowski and Danny Amendola are injured and may not play on Sunday. The season is quickly getting away from Philadelphia, but a win over the Patriots would be huge.
