Bill Belichick had an awkward response to everyone's birthday wishes

Bill Belichick is notorious for his distaste for social media, whether it's "MyFace", "InstantFace" or even "SnapFace," as he calls the various social media platforms. But Belichick put his misgivings about Instagram (or "InstantFace") to the side over the weekend when he made a cameo appearance on girlfriend Linda Holliday's account.

Belichick, who celebrated his 64th birthday Saturday, used the opportunity to thank fans for all of their birthday wishes and even attempted to make a Beatles reference, but it appears the head coach needs some practice on Instagram. His message got cut off by Instagram's time constraints, which recently expanded to 60 seconds of video, but apparently neither Holliday nor Belichick knows how to use the longer format.

Maybe Belichick could get some counseling from Rob Gronkowski, who announced his arrival on Instagram via the new 60-second video a few weeks ago.

On Saturday, the coach received a special birthday shout out from quarterback Tom Brady, who was drafted by the Patriots on Belichick's birthday 16 years ago.

Fans used the opportunity to create some fantastic Belichick birthday images.

It is not surprising that Belichick struggled to use Instagram, but it is strange to see him pressed for time given how the Patriots' coach tends to be tight-lipped.
