Bears TE Martellus Bennett practices fully on Wednesday
Chicago Bears tight end Martellus Bennett returned to the practice field on Wednesday, according to the team's official Twitter account. He was not limited at all by the ribs injury that sidelined him for the Green Bay Packers game on Thanksgiving Day.

Bennett's production has dipped this year. After setting new career highs for receptions and yardage in each of his first two seasons with the Bears, he is projected to finish with his worst stat line since coming to Chicago. That's not good for a player who was vying for a new contract last spring.
Although Bennett's statistics are down, he's still a very valuable offensive contributor for the Bears. Not only is he an effective pass-catcher, the 6-foot-6, 273-pound tight end is also one of the NFL's best blockers at his position. Bennett currently leads the team in receptions (50) and trails only wide receivers Alshon Jeffery and Marquess Wilson in yardage (425); he is second in touchdowns (3), behind fellow tight end Zach Miller (4).
