Bears bring in free agent defensive backs for bye week workout

The Chicago Bears were torched by the Detroit Lions' passing game in Week 6, as quarterback Matthew Stafford racked up over 400 yards and four touchdowns in his best performance of the year. As a result, the Bears have placed an emphasis on improving their defensive backfield over the bye week.
The team brought in four free agent defensive backs for a workout this week, according to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune.
#Bears brought in defensive backs for tryout today, I am told. Rishard Anderson, Robert McClain, Pierre Warren, Brandian Ross on the list.

The most accomplished member of the group is Robert McClain, who was selected in the seventh round of the 2010 NFL Draft and played each of the past three seasons with the Atlanta Falcons. He has played in 63 career games with some starting experience. McClain has three interceptions, two forced fumbles and two sacks through four NFL seasons.
Brandian Ross also has some starting experience. He has played 44 games, mostly with the Oakland Raiders. He has seen significant playing time over the past two seasons, recording two interceptions, two sacks and a forced fumble during that span.
Pierre Warren played in a handful of games as an undrafted rookie for the New Orleans Saints last year and picked off two passes. Ri'Shard Anderson has never appeared in a regular-season NFL game.
There have been no reports indicating that the Bears have immediate plans to sign any of these four defensive backs.
