Bailey misses his 3rd straight game for Broncos

Published Sep. 23, 2013 8:35 p.m. ET

Champ Bailey is missing his third consecutive game because of an injured left foot.

Denver's star cornerback is deactivated for the Broncos' game against the Oakland Raiders on Monday night.

Bailey returned to practice last week for the first time since getting hurt Aug. 17 at Seattle, but wasn't backpedalling very well during warm-ups.

This marks the second time in three seasons Bailey has missed three straight games.
