Arizona Cardinals getting Buffalo Bills at right time

The Arizona Cardinals are on the road for the first time this Sunday against the Buffalo Bills

The Arizona Cardinals had nice home cooking for the first two weeks of the NFL season.  At 1-1, they now face their first road test of the year.

Week three of the 2016 season takes the Cardinals to Buffalo, New York.  The Cardinals will visit the Buffalo Bills at 10:00 a.m. Sunday Arizona time. it couldn’t have come at a better time.

For their first road game, the Cardinals will be tested.  Buffalo Bills fans are knowledgeable and passionate.  Their team on the other hand is having a rough go to start the season.

The Bills are 0-2 after losses to the Baltimore Ravens and the New York Jets to start the season. Both losses were by six points.  After last weeks loss to the Jets, the Bills fired their offensive coordinator.  Interesting after a 37-31 loss.

The Bills could also be without their top receiver this week in Sammy Watkins.  The Bills have not decided whether he will play.  We will likely find out more on that on Friday.

Another loss this weekend drops the Bills to 0-3, so they may play desperate.  An 0-3 start behind what is now a 3-0 start by their division rival New England Patriots really puts the Bills in the eight-hole.

Then could there be a better time of the season to visit Buffalo?  The Cardinals sure got the luck of the draw here.  Three, even two months down the road, the temperatures could easily be 30-50 degrees cooler than what it the forecast calls for on Sunday.

Buffalo weather calls for a high of 68 and sunny on Sunday.  You can’t ask for much better weather in late September in upstate New York, especially if you are a visiting team from the desert.

What does all of this mean?  Likely nothing.  It will be a wild crowd as usual in Buffalo.  It won’t be easy.  Nothing is in the NFL.  However it sure could be a lot worse.
