The record for most combined yards from scrimmage in a single game now belongs to receiver Antonio Brown and running back DeAngelo Williams of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

During Sunday’s 38-35 win over the Oakland Raiders, the pair amassed 531 total yards—306 from Brown and 225 from Williams. According to Chase Stuart of Footballperspective.com, the 531 combined yards represents the most by two teammates since at least 1960. Brown and Williams beat the old mark—held by Art Powell and Clem Daniels, set in 1963—by 50 yards.

The two almost single-handedly took down the Raiders in Week 9.

Brown caught 17 passes for 284 yards and ran twice for 22, while Williams carried 27 times for 170 yards and caught two passes for 55. Their 531 yards accounted for almost 90 percent of Pittsburgh’s 597 total yards on Sunday.

Brown’s 284 receiving yards set a new franchise record and were the ninth most ever in NFL history. He had 10 catches for 180 yards by half time, and his 57-yard run-and-catch helped set up Pittsburgh’s game-winning field goal.

Williams had five plays over 20 yards. His 225 total yards were a new career-high. He also became just the 22nd player in NFL history to produce a game with at least 170 rushing yards and 50 or more receiving yards.

“Had a good flow, positive energy every series, and we were getting the looks that we practiced for, so it was a positive day,” Brown said, viaJeremy Fowler of ESPN.

A positive day was also a record-setting one in Pittsburgh.
