Andre Johnson dealing with new reality under Colts OC Chudzinski

The Indianapolis Colts are 3-0 with new offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski calling the plays, but along with the success has come a new, reduced role for the one of the team's prized free-agent signings from last March.
As Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star notes, Andre Johnson, who signed with the Colts are 12 seasons with the Houston Texans, has seen a sharp decline in the number of snaps he's played since Chudzinski took over play-calling duties.
Week 9 against the Denver Broncos, Johnson played just 42 percent of the Colts' offensive stats. In the team's next game, against the Atlanta Falcons, Johnson was on the field for 48 percent of the snaps.
Sunday in the win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the seven-time Pro Bowler played 45 percent of the offensive snaps.
This comes in contrast to Johnson's involvement earlier in the season, including games against the New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints in which he played 85 and 92 percent of the snaps, respectively.
The 34-year old Johnson is in the first season of a three-year, $21 million contract with the Colts. He has 26 receptions for 323 yards and three touchdowns through the first 11 games.
