Andre Johnson: Andrew Luck is the best QB in the NFL

After 12 years in the NFL, Andre Johnson finally has the quarterback he's been looking for in Andrew Luck.

Despte just a handful of offseason workouts together, Johnson said he's seen enough to know the Colts have a true franchise quarterback in Luck, something he never had during his long career with the Houston Texans.

"He's a hell of a player," Johnson said Tuesday, via ESPN's Mike Wells. "I think he's the best quarterback in this game."

Folks in New England, Green Bay, Denver and elsewhere might disagree, but it's hard to fault Johnson for bragging a bit. The seven-time Pro Bowler was released by the Texans earlier in the offseason after playing with the likes of David Carr, Matt Schaub and Ryan Fitzpatrick at quarterback over the the course of his career. Now with the Colts, the 33-year-old believes he's on a team with a legitimate chance to win the Super Bowl.

"When you look at all the teams that have won Super Bowls over the past few years, they've all had great quarterback play, and we have a great quarterback here," Johnson said. "I can't say I've been fortunate enough to play with a great quarterback in my 12 years in this league, so I'm able to play with one now."
