Allen Robinson accomplishes something no Jaguar has done in a decade
Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robsinson had a monster game in Sunday's 42-39 loss to the Tennessee Titans, including becoming the franchise's first 1,000-yard receiver in 10 years.
Robinson, who began the day with 927 receiving yards on the year, broke the 1,000-mark with a 15-yard reception in the third quarter from quarterback Blake Bortles. With the catch, Robinson became Jacksonville's first 1,000-yard receiver since Jimmy Smith in 2005.
A second-round pick in 2014, Robinson capped off the drive by catching a one-yard pass from Bortles for a touchdown.
Robinson, Jacksonville's leading receiver, finished the game with 10 catches for 153 yards and three touchdowns.
With his three touchdowns, Robinson now has 11 on the season, breaking the Jaguars' single-season record for receiving touchdowns.
