Adrian Peterson's agent creates buzz by wearing Bucs hat

Ben Dogra, the agent who represents Adrian Peterson, is not going to make life for the Minnesota Vikings easy this offseason.

Last month, Dogra said publicly that he does not believe it is in the best interests of Peterson to remain with the Vikings. Despite that, Peterson remains a Viking and the team is reportedly looking to be blown away by an offer if they are going to trade him. Perhaps Dogra is trying to irritate the Vikings with the photo you see above, which he posted on Facebook Monday night with the caption “Game on!”

What does the photo mean? Probably nothing. The NFL draft is quickly approaching, and Dogra represents Tampa Bay Buccaneers star defensive tackle Gerald McCoy. The Vikings also face the Bucs in their preseason opener, so maybe Dogra is already jacked up about that.

Personally, I can’t help but think this is a calculated stunt from the agent. A recent report indicated that the Bucs are willing to “listen seriously” to offers for the No. 1 overall pick, and they are one of a number of teams who are said to be interested in Peterson.

It seems obvious that Peterson’s ideal scenario is to be traded to a certain team down south. It’s even more obvious that both he and Dogra want out of Minnesota. My gut tells me Dogra was stirring up trouble intentionally.
