Aaron Rodgers wins NFC Offensive Player of the Week for 5-TD outing

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was an easy selection for NFC Offensive Player of the week. The league recognized Rodgers for the weekly honor after he ripped the Kansas City Chiefs to shreds in a 38-28 win in Week 4.

This is the 13th time Rodgers has won Player of the Week. He now has the most POTW distinctions in Packers history, one more than legendary quarterback Brett Favre, according to director of NFC communications Randall Liu.

Rodgers' performance against the Chiefs on Monday night was nearly flawless. He completed 24 out of 35 pass attempts (68.6 percent) and threw five touchdown passes. Last year's league MVP is up to 10 touchdown passes on the season, and he has yet to throw an interception.

Rodgers is rolling, so expect this award to come back around at least one more time in 2015.
