Aaron Rodgers wins $50,000 for charity on 'Celebrity Jeopardy!'

If you think Aaron Rodgers’ future is in jeopardy, well, you might be right.
We’re talking, of course, about “Celebrity Jeopardy!”, which the Green Bay Packers quarterback made an appearance on Tuesday night.
Rodgers faced stiff competition in Kevin O’Leary from ABC’s “Shark Tank” and astronaut Mark Kelly but outlasted the field, finishing in first place with $8,399 to win $50,000 for the charity of his choice, Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer.
If you know Rodgers, though, his victory should come as no surprise. The two-time NFL MVP told ESPN Wisconsin he watches the show every day during the offseason and said he had nearly $30,000 going into Final Jeopardy during a recent practice round.
Rodgers did have a few fumbles Tuesday, though, missing a Daily Double question about University of California dropout Steve Wozniack and whiffing on Final Jeopardy question about motorcycle company Harley Davidson.
Yet his overall performance was impressive enough for host Alex Trebek to bust out a rather enthusiastic version of Rodgers’ “Discount Double Check” celebration. Rodgers’ appearance on “Celebrity Jeopardy!” was a win for everyone, but apparently he has girlfriend Olivia Munn to thank for getting on the show in the first place. According to Rodgers, Munn originally was asked to appear instead of him.
“She was like, ‘I don’t really want to this,’” Rodgers told ESPN Radio. “I was like, ‘I will do that! Tell your people I will do it!'”
