This is the biggest game the Kansas City Chiefs have played yet this year, traveling to face the Oakland Raiders.

If you are nervous for this game, you are not alone. The Chiefs have played poorly to this point in the season, and yet could be 60 minutes away from a huge win. If Kansas City can win, it would move to 3-2 and only be a half-game back from the AFC West, trailing both the Denver Broncos and Raiders.

However, the Chiefs would arguably be in the driver’s seat. Kansas City would be 2-0 in divisional play while Denver is 0-1 and Oakland would be 1-1. While it certainly isn’t a commanding position, it’s much better than the alternative.

Oakland won’t be easy to beat The Raiders rank in the top 10 in both passing and rushing yardage. However, they will be without running back Latavius Murray, who will be inactive with a problematic toe.

Should the Chiefs find a way, they will then play the New Orleans Saints at home, with a chance to get over .500 for the first time this season. Of course, we are a long way from that.
