Trail Blazers unsurprisingly snubbed in annual NBA GM survey
The NBA's annual GM survey allows the league's top decision makers to vote on several different categories related to the upcoming season. Here it is.
To the surprise of no one paying attention, the Portland Trail Blazers received approximately zero love.
Damian Lillard didn't register as one of the league's best point guards and C.J. McCollum didn't register as a potential break-out player. Here's SB Nation's Blazer's Edge with a closer look at a few other categories the Trail Blazers were snubbed from:
Portland isn't going to be competitive this season, but that doesn't mean they don't deserve some recognition in at least one of these broad fields.
The Blazers got shut out of several categories they might hope to be remembered in, including most athletic team, best defense, best offensive schemes, and best homecourt advantage. No doubt this is due to the relatively unknown state of the roster at this point.
