Stephen Curry undergoes MRI on right ankle

Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry underwent an MRI on his right ankle, the team announced Tuesday, and his status for Game 3 against the Houston Rockets is questionable.
The MRI "did not reveal anything of concern and Curry is expected to continue treatment," the Warriors said in a statement.
The NBA MVP was held out of Monday night's Game 2 of the Western Conference playoffs due to an ankle injury he suffered in Saturday's series opener.
The positive update likely has the Warriors and their fans breathing a huge sigh of relief, especially after head coach Steve Kerr made some unsettling comments about Curry's injury Monday night.
"There are plenty of cases in the past where people played through stuff, and it didn't turn out so well," Kerr said via ESPN. "Grant Hill being the one that always jumps out at me. Whether that is the same type of thing as this, I don't really know. I do know is that we have to look after his health because the competitor that he is, he's going to want to play."
The Warriors-Rockets series will shift to Houston for Game 3 on Thursday. Golden State currently leads the series 2-0.
