Sixers unlikely to make moves before February's trade deadline
Things have changed a bit for the Philadelphia 76ers this season. The team has realized that the so-called Process cannot go on indefinitely, and has brought in guys like Jerry Colangelo and Mike D'Antoni to more quickly turn things around.
While the team has played much better since their arrival, the reality is that from a talent perspective, it's just not good enough to consistently compete on a nightly basis. While that may change this summer, the front office is unlikely to make any midseason moves to shake up the roster.

The 76ers will listen to trade offers, but chances are they won't make any moves by the Feb. 18 trade deadline.
"We will continue to look for opportunities if there are things that we can do to add players for now and the future," general manager Sam Hinkie said Monday. "We will look, but I'm not sure it will happen."
In the past, GM Sam Hinkie has sent talented players away in exchange for draft picks or younger guys in need of additional development. It's clear that after three straight dismal seasons, the franchise is going to look to improve through the draft and/or free agency, and will no longer make silly trades that will only serve to extend the rebuilding process.
