Report: Michael Jordan made more money off sneakers last year than in total as a player

It's no secret that Jordan Brand essentially prints money when the sneaker giant drops retro releases each weekend, and the company's namesake is among those getting a healthy piece of the action.

The folks over at PBS put together an infographic breaking down how the dollars and cents in the industry shake out, and the part that caught our attention highlights the fact that Michael Jordan made more money from sneakers in 2014 than he earned over his entire 15-year career as an NBA player.
