Report: LaMarcus Aldridge was 'distant' in the playoffs

Published Jun. 18, 2015 6:08 p.m. ET

Portland Trail Blazers star LaMarcus Aldridge has a difficult decision to make this off-season.

After spending the first nine years of his career in Portland and undoubtedly building many relationships and ties to the people in the city, Aldridge has to decide whether he wants to stay or go in free agency.

While it's hard to say which way Aldridge is leaning, there are a few signs that should at least raise caution as free agency approaches.

Here's more from Jason Quick of The Oregonian:

"During the (Memphis) series, Aldridge had been distant, not taking part in end-of-game huddles. He elected to fly home separate from the team. And he was so late to the team breakfast before Game 5 in Memphis that some inside the team figured he had blown it off."
