Perfect Kobe Bryant Vine sums up the Lakers' season

In many ways, Kobe Bryant's final NBA season is one he'll cherish forever. There have been countless memories, gifts, warm-wishes, tributes, ovations and tears.

On the other hand, the 37-year-old is tired, achy, shooting 35.6 percent and playing on one of the worst teams in the league. All his teammates are either inexperienced or below average at their position (or both).

Times are tough, and during Thursday night's performance against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, Bryant couldn't help but curse to himself after the Lakers nearly turned it over trying to inbound the ball:

Out of 30 NBA teams, the Lakers rank 30th in defense and 29th in offense. They're 14-52, dead last in the Western Conference and second-worst in the entire league.

It's a tough way for Bryant to go out, but some might argue that he has nobody to blame but himself. Between his cap-eating contract and notoriously rough ego, the Lakers have had a difficult time attracting talented free agents over the past couple of summers.

It'll be interesting to see how they do this July, with Bryant finally out of the picture.
