Let Marcin Gortat try and sell you a hammer, seriously
Washington Wizards center Marcin Gortat has one of the most amazingly astute nicknames in the entire NBA: The Polish Hammer.
1) He's from Poland, 2) He's strong and can dunk. Hence this fantastic nickname also makes perfect sense.
It's also a bit silly, so Gortat and the Wizards had a little fun with it by filming this fake (oh why can't it be real?) and awesome commercial:

Even though his Twitter account says "Polish Machine" instead of "Polish Hammer," Gortat is still, unequivocally, the greatest. He's hilarious, efficient and a wonderful teammate:
