Kristaps Porzingis will wear No. 6 this season
Kristaps Porzingis showed off No. 46 when playing in Las Vegas Summer League, but apparently, he won't be tied to those digits for long. The Zinger is sporting a new number now, according to Marc Berman of the New York Post:
Don't worry. The Wear reference wasn't that random. He wore 6 for the Knicks a season ago. And Porzingis will be joining some better big-man company when taking on that number, too.
Tyson Chandler wore it before Wear. And don't forget about Landry Fields or Charles Smith or Qyntel Woods.
That's right, you heard me: Qyentel Woods, the man who took the letter "u" and spat on it as it kicked its behind out of the alphabet. The Zinger may not be that aggressive, but let's hope he has more success on the basketball court.
