Knicks announce official signings of Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Sasha Vujacic
The signings of the year have finally happened! After weeks of rumors, the Knicks officially have two new players:

First of all, let's just discuss the insanely weird phrasing here from the Knicks' Twitter account.
Dating tweets? "August 7, 2015" formatted as if it's a byline? And as if the first tweet, the Vujacic one, wasn't formal enough, the second one refers to the team as "the New York Knickerbockers" completely seriously.
What's going on? Are the Knicks trolling the Knicks?
Oh, and as for the two guys they signed, Vujacic's deal was reported as a one-year, guaranteed contract by Shams Charania of RealGM a few days ago. Antetokounmpo's, meanwhile, is likely unguaranteed given his standing within the organization. The 2014 late second-round pick spent all of last season playing for the organization's D-League affiliate, the Westchester Knicks.
