Kevin Love says he'll be back on the court in 7-10 days
Kevin Love is in Las Vegas this week at USA Basketball's minicamp, even though he won't be participating in any physical activities.
Jerry Colangelo said attendance was mandatory for anyone who wanted to be considered for the 2016 Rio Olympics, and Love is still recovering from the shoulder injury that he suffered during the first round of the playoffs at the hands of Kelly Olynyk of the Boston Celtics.
The good news for Cavaliers fans is, Love said he expects to return to action within the next week or so, and that he should be ready for training camp, according to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne.
A healthy Cavaliers team would be the favorites in the East to return to the Finals next season. Love and Kyrie Irving were both out during the matchup with the Warriors due to injuries, and LeBron James managed to squeeze two victories out of his team, essentially all by himself.
