James Harden threw some shade at Michael Carter-Williams for his first pitch
Houston Rockets star James Harden recently threw out the first pitch at a Houston Astros game, but before he made his delivery to the plate, he sent some shade Michael Carter-Williams's way.
You see, Carter-Williams has apparently become the face of NBA players making terrible first pitches. He probably deserves it after nailing the cameraman with his first pitch at a Brewers game.
I guess MCW's rebuttal could be that at least he got it past the plate without bouncing it, and that he has the heat, but just needs to work on his control. I guess. Maybe.
Or he can just hope everyone eventually forgets, and doesn't get called out like this, via For The Win:
"Harden told Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle before his pitch on Wednesday, “I’m going to try not to throw a ball or hit a cameraman.”
Well done, James. Better luck next time, MCW.
