J.J. Redick went back to Duke (PHOTO)
One of the great parts of getting to play ball at a renowned university with a legitimate basketball history is that you get to see all these legends come back and help out with the program they once played in. Obviously, Duke is one of those places. And this week, the Duke basketball team reaped some of the benefits of being a part of one of the best hoops programs in all of the NCAA.
J.J. Redick, one of the most hated or most loved former Dukies (depending on your own personal biases), has made his way back to Durham.
I have proof!
Oh, is a tweet not good enough for you? Did Redick's car emoji which implied he was driving from Austin, TX to Houston when he had actually already finished his drive mislead enough that you can never trust his tweeting ever again? Fine.
I have pictures!
Redick was phenomenal from freshman to senior year at Duke, finishing out his collegiate career with a 26.8 point-per-game average during year four in Durham. He made 457 career threes over his four years (that's pretty darn good, by the by) and sunk in more than 40 percent of them.
