How would Brandon Jennings look in a Knicks uniform?
The Knicks have Jose Calderon, but that doesn't mean they're content with their point guards.
Rumors and reports have been flying everywhere about how New York would like to add another guard, whether that guy is Jamal Crawford or another point guard.
Over at the Inquisitr, Jacob Street asks if the answer to their problems could be waiting in Detroit:
There's certainly a chance Jennings could be moved this season given the Pistons' point-guard situation. Detroit just signed Jackson to a five-year deal. Even if he doesnt excel as a starter like Street writes, the organization is committed to him over the long term, and his playing style doesn't exactly inspire inspiration for the two 1-guards playing together.
Jackson and Jennings both dominate the ball. That's not the best combo for two guards who could potentially share the floor together to possess. So, what might the Pistons do? Trade Jennings, who is the bigger risk coming off an Achilles tear.
If the Knicks want to take a chance, they may not have to give up much to acquire him.

The New York Knicks need stability at the point guard position if they plan to contend in the upcoming seasons. Jose Calderon, simply, will not get the job done, which has led to many rumors about his future with the New York Knicks. While Ian Begley of ESPNNewYork.com reports that a deal involving Calderon is not currently imminent, that does not mean that he won’t be dealt at some point during the season.
The New York Knicks could pursue a mid-season trade for Detroit Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings. Jennings is young, filled with talent, and could bring electricity to the Knicks locker room. According to the Detroit Free Press, Brandon could be available for a trade during the season if Reggie Jackson excels as a starter. Brandon Jennings would be a great long-term investment for Carmelo Anthony.
