For the second time in less than a week the Rockets will do battle with the Phoenix Suns
The Houston Rockets will look to get back to their winning ways as they face a Suns squad, who have lost four of their last five. The Rockets meanwhile will be coming off a loss against the Grizzlies, who happen to be the top ranked defense in the NBA.
Houston is still a team in search of their identity since their starting center, Clint Capela, went down with a knee injury. In the game against Memphis, the Rockets offense looked out of sync all night. Harden picking up his third foul, while still in first quarter, is partly to blame for the offense looking out of sorts. But, their shots were not falling and the “comeback” attempt was too little, too late.

The Phoenix Suns finally got a win, but it required them to come back from a 14-point deficit. And it was against the equally terrible, Philadelphia 76ers. Eric Bledsoe handed out a season high 11 assists and he finished with 24 points (2 triples), 2 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Sadly, this was only Bledsoe’s second double/double of the season. He was dealing with a prior groin injury, but it certainly didn’t seem to bother him in the win against Philly.
Devin Booker has also seemed to find his groove in the back-court with Bledsoe and has been filling up the stat sheet recently. In the Philly game, he finished with 23 points (4 triples), 6 rebounds, 6 dimes, and 2 steals. This could mean trouble for Red Nation.
The Rockets play two sets of back to back games this week and although the games are against inferior competition, the trap is set for them to under perform. Can Houston regain its offense and its shooting rhythm to put down these lesser teams?
