Chicago Bulls at Golden State Warriors Game Info, How to Watch

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 3:28 p.m. ET

Well, here we go. The most average team in the entire league, the Chicago Bulls, facing off against the most incredibly good team in the entire league, the Golden State Warriors. The Dubs are out of this world and the Bulls are fighting the good, but statistically average fight.

Chicago has done a crazy job of playing well on trips to the west coast. They finished the Circus Trip, the final trip of its kind, with an improbable 4-2 record. Now, they’re on an equally long trip to the same region, facing much stiffer competition. And yet, they’re 2-1 on this trip.

If the Bulls played all year like they have on these two trips, they’d be pushing the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics in the East. Instead, they’re vying for the right to get bounced from the playoffs by those two teams, lingering at the bottom of the playoff picture, consistently playing .500 basketball.

You’ve probably heard a bit about their opponent, the toughest they’ll face all year. The Warriors have four (FOUR!), of the best basketball players on the planet. Back-to-back, defending MVP Steph Curry has Draymond Green, Klay Thompson and fellow former league MVP, Kevin Durant.

Durant is all kinds of trouble on his own, but when he’s added to one of the league’s all-time greatest teams, he finds another level. The whole team has found another level. It’s incredible to watch.

Golden State is going to push hard in transition, move the ball fast, and launch lots of 3s. The Bulls will probably have to try the Cleveland method of slowing the game as much as possible, breaking up the Dubs rhythm.

More from Pippen Ain't Easy

It won’t be easy, the Bulls have both Jimmy Butler and Cristiano Felicio listed as questionable for Wednesday night’s game. Of course, the Bulls weren’t supposed to be able to hang with the Rockets or beat the Kings without Butler and they crushed the Oklahoma City Thunder and Russell Westbrook to kick off this whole trip.
