Cavs' Kevin Love tweet takes on whole new meaning without proper punctuation
The Cleveland Cavaliers tweeted out a #GivingTuesday post on their Twitter account earlier today touting Kevin Love's collaboration with DICK'S Sporting Goods in launching their Holiday Hoops program.
The program's aim is to bring people together through the power of sport by setting up basketball hoops in communities across America.
The Cavaliers celebrated this event with a tweet that read: "How is @kevinlove spreading love on #GivingTuesday? By teaming up w/ dicks to launch #HolidayHoops! http://instagram.com/p/wHSmbMCzZs/ "
Only, they forgot to capitalize the name of the company, add an apostrophe to the store's name and mention that it was a sporting goods outlet altogether. Which had the potential of turning this nice festive message of giving into something a little less wholesome. (The post has since been removed from the Cleveland Cavaliers' official feed.)
As one Twitter commenter noted, capitalization and apostrophes are your friends, Cleveland.
