Spring Training 2017: When do the Mariners report?

The Seattle Mariners have their first full workout on February 19. Here’s everything you need to know about Spring Training 2017.

The Seattle Mariners head South to Peoria, Arizona, to start their spring workouts. They share the Peoria Sports Complex with the San Diego Padres. The Mariners had an impressive 86-76 record last season to put them in second place in the AL West behind the Rangers.

Mariners’ pitchers and catchers report to camp on February 14 and start workouts on February 15. The position players report on the 18th, and the full squad start workouts on February 19.

Opening Day will be celebrated across two days in 2017, starting with three prime time games on Sunday, April 2. The Mariners will travel to Texas to play the Houston Astros in their home opener on April 3 at 8:10 p.m.
